It is the most important module of sugar cube machines. When this module is not used, the edges of the sugar cubes are not straight because the crystals are of different sizes, the load on the press system is too high, there is a large weight difference in the packaged boxes, and when the boxes reach the buyer there are many crystals of the sugar cubes that have fallen off. This module solves all of these problems. The granulated sugar you use as raw material, regardless of origin and crystal size, is broken down into smaller crystals through the refining system. Thus: - Cubes have very straight edges and corners - The load on the press system is reduced a lot and the life of the machine is extended - Weight is almost always the same in the packed boxes - The cubes don't fall out their crystals in the box during transportation - The machine can produce harder sugar cubes Besides this system, there are sieve and magnet systems. Thus, unwanted substances do not get into your sugar and do not damage the machine.

The mixer that mixes sugar with water is completely made of 304 stainless steel. The use of stainless steel is important for health safety in food production. Other metals such as aluminum were not used in the production of the mixer.

As manufacturers will know, in parts that work together and rub against each other, both parts cannot be made of stainless steel. Therefore, the material placed between the mixer and the mold must be different. For this part, Marku Machining works with a system made of bronze. The reason why we put bronze instead of plastic parts is that plastic wears out very quickly and the sugar waste rate during production is high. Bronze takes a very long time to wear out. Even if it wears out, it can continue to be used comfortably with small adjustments. Therefore, the bronze system, which we use on all four sides of the mold, prevents the sugar from flowing out, reduces the amount of wasted sugar considerably, provides precise adjustment and allows us to work cleanly with the machine.

The 3-point grammage locking system mechanically prevents the grammage of sugar cubes from changing while the machine is running.

The rolls that allow the sugar cubes to fall onto the band are connected by springs. Over time, these springs can wear out, stretch, or even break. In order to avoid a problem in the press system if the spring breaks, this dropper system has been updated to have 2 springs. Thus, in case of any problem that may occur in one spring as a result of long-term operation, the other spring continues to work and ensures that the machine operates without any problems and there is no sugar waste.

In drum type molds, the part where the rolls (that allow the sugar cubes to fall on the band) fall may experience wear as a result of long time use. In order to prevent the part from being removed from the mold and welded again, we produce the part from stainless steel as a separate part from the mold. After the hardening process, the life of the part is considerably extended. As standard, when you buy the machine, this part is also included in the spare parts. Therefore, even if this part wears out after a very long time of use, you have a spare part, so you can easily replace the part when necessary and continue working with the machine.

The press wall is one of the parts of the machine that has the moast load. We produce all press wall fasteners from stainless steel on our own CNC machines. With the improvements we have made (centering the press wall pneumatics from 3 different points, improving the internal spring system, placing the cylinders upside down to prevent the cylinders from being filled with water and damaged), we have ensured that the press wall has a longer working life, works without any breakage due to long-term load, reduces the load on it and reduces the noise it makes while working.

It absorbs the water that washes the mold and the pistons. When new sugar comes into the mold, the mold cells are dry, so that when the cube is pressed, there is no trace of water on the cube and the color of the cube is homogeneous.

The band is very important for the use, efficiency and trouble-free operation of the machine. The band carries the sugar cubes throughout the machine. Therefore, the band must be properly aligned. Even if the band touches the parts of the centering system, it will not scratch or twist, it will work properly. With this centering system, once you adjust your band, you can work without any problems for a very long time without the need to adjust it again.And our bands, which still look new in our machines that have been working every day for more than 10 years, still work in high quality like new thanks to this centering system.

It is one of the most important modules in machines with a drum-type press system. In the drum press, wet sugar cubes fall onto the belt, and some wet crystals stick to it. Over time, these sugars, having passed through the oven multiple times, turn into a sticky slurry that disrupts the shape of new sugar cubes and creates issues in the packaging units. While this takes longer in cities with dry air, in humid cities, it can happen after just one day of operation if the belt is not washed. To prevent this, a belt-washing system has been added. The belt is thoroughly cleaned with water and a brush during each cycle, preventing the cubes from losing their shape. This avoids the need for manual washing which takes a long time, enables the packaging units to work smoothly, and greatly improves machine productivity. As a result, the belt-washing system plays a critical role in the continuous, uninterrupted, and efficient operation of the machine.

It is used in machines with drum type press. It allows hot air to circulate throughout the entire oven, ensuring faster and more even drying.

Our ovens are used less in number now as they dry faster than the older versions. The operation of the ovens depends on the operation of the band, so when the machine is stopped for any reason, the ovens automatically stop heating and open. When the machine is started, the ovens are switched on in sequence and heat up quickly. All these features prevent the ovens from running at unnecessary times and the small number of ovens consumes much less electricity.

When the box making unit stops automatically according to its sensor, the electric motor and vacuum motor also stop. This standby period, which can last up to 4 minutes depending on the box specifications, saves electricity and eliminates unnecessary noise.

When the conveyor is full of boxes, the system detects with its sensor and automatically stops the machine, the upper head does not take a new carton to continue making boxes. When it detects that there are less boxes on the conveyor, it starts working as if it had been restarted. Thus, when the machine stops and restarts, there is no tearing, twisting or curling of the new cartons.

The mechanism puts small dots of glue on the flaps of the box. This ensures that the box closes neatly without the flaps being completely covered with a thick line of glue and saves glue.

Earlier versions of the box making unit showed that when the formed boxes were dropped from the side of the machine, they would turn sideways on the way down (especially the smaller and lighter boxes), preventing the automatic continuous operation of the packaging machines. So we have updated this unit and now the box-making unit drops the formed boxes vertically, so there is no side-rotation and no disruption to the operation of the machine.

In the filling unit, there are vacuum heads according to the number of boxes to be filled. These heads separate after receiving the sugar cubes and drop the cubes into the boxes. Separation of the heads is carried out mechanically. It works much better and more efficiently than pneumatic systems. Thus, it does not slow down the speed of the machine, reduces the error rate to zero and maximizes efficiency. Compared to pneumatic systems, it does not cause any vibration and does not cause programmatic adjustment problems.

In the box filling unit, the robot arm system that takes the sugar cubes and puts them in the box is not connected with chains, it is fixed with bearings from 4 different points. Thus, the robot arm moves in the same trajectory while working, does not vibrate, does not move left and right. This ensures long life and very efficient operation of the machine.

While the box is being closed, it is pushed from the bottom, which makes the top lid of the box bulge. A box top lid centering system has been developed to ensure that the box is in proper shape and the lid is not curved.
